The ads are dark and seductive with black and white imagery. Sam Smith has never looked better and is barely recognizable in a tailored black blazer and peacoat. It looks like he is trapped inside a Balenciaga world and can’t get out. I can see a priest. By the way Balenciaga is a Religious brand fot the afficionados indeed.
Vlisco is traditionally loved and worn by women as a sign of maturity and status. When getting married, women hope still today to be given Vlisco fabrics as part of their dowry. Christian Audigier has sadly died at the age of 57 following a battle with cancer.
The fashion designer was best known for building the Ed Hardy brand and it was revealed back in April that he had been fighting a former of cancer called MDS (Myelodysplastic Syndrome).

Tuesday, Donna Karan announced that she will step down from her role as Chief Designer of Donna Karan International to focus on her Urban Zen Company and Foundation.
DKI will not replace Donna Karan as Chief Designer at this time and it will suspend its runway shows and collections for a period of time. Karan will also remain a close advisor to the company. “Donna Karan New York is a part of me, past, present and future,” said Karan. “It has been an honor to speak woman to woman about Seven Easy Pieces that forever changed the way women dress. This is a mix between Issey Miyake and Givenchy when the brand was reflected the work of Hubert de Givenchy. During 50 years he has protected and defended the profession which today, thanks to him, embodied the French industry of Luxe.
50 years ago he went with the French government to conquer the Asian market because he had very soon understood the importance of that continent.
