Who would have thought that one day, our wildest (and bluest) dreams would come true? Hold on tight, because Ferragamo and Porsche have decided to unite in a collaboration so luxurious it would make the summer sky pale in comparison.
No more struggling to find a handbag that matches your car! Now, lucky owners of a Porsche and Ferragamo accessories will be able to match their leather to their luxury car. Yes, you read that right: the intense blue from Maximilian Davis’s Fall 2023 Ferragamo collection is now the new black… for sports cars!
This alliance, worthy of an episode of “My Incredible Wardrobe and My Tuned Porsche,” was inspired by the shade “Blusogno” (literally “dream blue,” and we can see why!). It fittingly celebrates the 40th anniversary of Porsche Italia. Forget candles and cake; here we’re talking about two special editions of the Porsche 911 Carrera 4 GTS and the Porsche Taycan 4S. These marvels, created by the Porsche Exclusive Manufaktur in Germany, will unfortunately be reserved for the Italian market and only 52 lucky individuals.
It’s safe to say there will be a fight to get a slice of “Blusogno,” which isn’t just on the bodywork but also inside, matched with blue Paldao wood trim. That’s a far cry from the “velvet floor mats” option! As this new stylistic alliance creates a buzz, we can’t help but think about the mobility of major industry players.
What if fashion was the new playground for automotive giants? And what about Luca de Meo, who will soon join the Kering group! The dream of the Lord matching our shoes to our car, but also our handbag to our Lord! Fashion is an eternal restart, and the automotive industry seems to want to draw inspiration from it. Stay tuned, because the world of luxury isn’t done surprising us… and making us laugh!
