For Summer 2027, Alessandro Sartori celebrates a way of life deeply rooted in Italian culture with “La Villeggiatura,” a collection inspired by family holidays and the pleasure of carrying one’s lifestyle wherever one goes. The Zegna artistic director drew on this nostalgic tradition to create a wardrobe where comfort, freedom, and sophistication come together effortlessly. More than a simple evocation of summer vacations, the collection expresses the idea of a mobile lifestyle, where the boundaries between relaxation and elegance naturally disappear.

This vision came to life on Malibu Pier on Friday evening, in a setting bathed in the light of the Pacific Ocean. Against a backdrop of rolling waves and California surfers, guests including Rami Malek, Mahershala Ali, and Gael García Bernal were immersed in a sun-drenched atmosphere enhanced by citrus-colored cocktails and a retro-inspired scenography. Striped parasols, orange and yellow lounge chairs, and a wooden boardwalk evoked the charm of classic seaside resorts, providing the perfect setting for a collection that celebrates travel, memory, and effortless elegance.
